1. Performance Format
- Performance Type: Solo singing only
- Genres Allowed: Classical, Semi-Classical, Light Classical, Folk, Bollywood, Ghazal, Indie
- Duration: Minimum 2 minutes, Maximum 4 minutes
- Time includes entry, performance, and exit.
2. Technical Guidelines
- Vocals: Live singing is mandatory.
- Instruments:
- One accompanying instrument or karaoke track allowed.
- Pre-recorded vocals or auto-tuned tracks are strictly prohibited.
- Audio Submission:
- Karaoke/backing track must be submitted in MP3 format at least 24 hours prior to the event.
- Shortlisted participants must submit their final performance track at least 24 hours prior to the event.
- Participants must carry a USB backup on the event day.
3. On-Stage Rules
- Reporting Time: 30 minutes prior to the performance slot.
- Microphones: Provided by organizers
- Stand /handheld mic will be provided on participants request
- Costume: Decent and appropriate for a university setting.
- Penalty: Exceeding time limit will result in – 5 points per 30 seconds.
4. Judging Criteria (100 Points)
- Vocal Quality & Pitch Accuracy – 30
- Rhythm & Timing – 20
- Song Selection & Difficulty – 15
- Expression & Voice Modulation – 15
- Stage Presence & Overall Impact – 20
5. Conduct & Discipline
- Professional conduct is mandatory.
- No indecent lyrics, gestures, or behavior.
- Arguments with judges or organizers will lead to immediate disqualification.
- Judges’ decisions are final and binding.
6. Results & Prizes
- Results will be announced after final evaluation.
- Score sheets will not be disclosed.
- Winners: Cash Prizes, Certificates, and Trophy
- Runner-Up: GIFT hamper+Certificates + Trophy
- Other Participants will receive a participating Certificate.
7. General rules & Rights
- Participants must ensure accurate contact details for official communication.
- Any technical issues during playback due to file corruption will not be grounds for re-performance.
- The organizers reserve the right to use submitted audio recordings for event promotion and documentation.
- The organizers reserve the right to record performances and use them for promotional purposes.
- Organizers reserve the right to modify rules, schedule, or performance order if required.
