Rules and Regulation

1. Eligibility & Registration

  • College / University  students are only eligible
  • The competition is open to individual participants
  • Each participant must register before 25th Feb, 2026.
  • Only one entry per participant is allowed.
  • Participants are required to bring their own model.
  • Valid ID may be required for verification

2. Theme & Creativity

  • No fixed theme
  • Participants are free to express creativity and artistic skills
  • Designs must not include:
    • Offensive or hateful imagery
    • Political or religious controversy
    • Inappropriate or vulgar content
  • Any Inappropriate design will not be showcased.
  • Designs will be reviewed by the Teacher and students coordinators before final presentation.

3. Time Limit

  • Total time allotted: 60–90 minutes (as announced).
  • Participants must stop painting immediately at the end signal.
  • Exceeding time limits may lead to point reduction.

4. Materials & Tools

  • Only skin-safe, non-toxic face paints are allowed
  • Participants must bring their own
    • Face paints
    • Brushes
    • Sponges
    • Mirrors
    • Any additional tools
  • Use of permanent markers, oil paints, or chemical colors is strictly prohibited.
  • Brushes, sponges, and tools must be clean and hygienic.
  • In case of any issues raised due to paint by the model, the participants will hold the responsibility.

5. Model Rules

  • Participants must bring their own model
  • One artist per one model only
  • Models must be available for:
    • Design review
    • Final stage presentation (ramp walk)
  • Organizers are not responsible for any allergic reactions

6. Hygiene & Safety

  • Participants must maintain proper hygiene.
  • Sharing of brushes, sponges, or makeup is not allowed.
  • Any unsafe or unhygienic practice may result in disqualification

7. Stages:

  • Stage one:
      • Compilation of the work  within the time limit.
      • Designs will be reviewed by the Teacher and students coordinators before final presentation.
  • Stage Presentation (Ramp Walk)
      • After Review, the model must participate in a ramp walk on stage.
      • Participants may explain the concept/theme of their design (if asked).
      • The ramp walk is a mandatory part of judging.

8. Judging Criteria

Participants will be judged on:

  • Creativity and originality
  • Color combination and technique
  • Neatness and detailing
  • Theme relevance
  • Overall visual impact
  • Stage presentation and confidence

9. Conduct & Discipline

  • Maintain decorum during the competition.
  • No collaboration or external assistance allowed.
  • Mobile phone usage may be restricted.
  • Any misconduct may result in disqualification.

10. Submission & Display

  • Models must be present for judging
  • Participants must present their work clearly to judges
  • No touch-ups allowed after the time limit

11. Organizer Rights

  • Organizers reserve the right to:
    • Modify rules if required
    • Disqualify participants for rule violations
    • Use images of artworks/models for promotional purposes
  • Participation implies acceptance of all rules
