1. Eligibility & Registration
- The competition is open to College / University individuals only
- Registration fee: ₹200 per participant (non-refundable)
- Each participant may submit up to 2 photographs.
- Valid College / University ID, along with registration confirmation slip, will be required for verification
- Participants must register before 20th February, 2026 through the official Sangeetam website.
2. Theme & Category
- Theme – Sangeetam
- Photographs must capture the essence of music, rhythm, performances, emotions, instruments, backstage moments, audience reactions, or cultural expressions during the Sangeetam event.
- Photography will be conducted over three consecutive days of the Sangeetam event.
- Only photographs taken during these three days are eligible.
3. Originality & Ethics
- All photographs must be original and captured by the participant during the events.
- Plagiarism or copying from online sources is strictly prohibited
- Heavy manipulation that alters the reality of the image is not allowed
- Basic edits (crop, exposure, contrast, color correction) are permitted
4. Equipment & Technical Rules
- Photos taken using DSLR, mirrorless, or mobile cameras only
- AI-generated or stock images are strictly prohibited.
- Drones are strictly prohibited.
- Image specifications:
- Format: JPEG / JPG
- Minimum resolution: 3000 px on the longer side
5. Photography Guidelines

- Photos must be taken only within designated event areas.
- Participants must not obstruct performers, audience, or event operations.
- Respect performers’ and audience members’ privacy.
- Any form of disruptive or unsafe behavior will result in disqualification.
6. Submission Guidelines
- Photographs must be submitted before 5 pm on 25 February, 2026.
- File name should include:
- Participant Name
- Photo Title
- Participants must submit their photos to the official Sangeetam Mail ID.
7. Screening
- Screening of photographs will take place on the 3rd day of the event.
- Participants must ensure image quality suitable for screening.
- Submitted photographs will be screened by the designated judges
8. Judging Criteria
Photographs will be judged based on: Best Three-Day Shoot – Sangeetam
Awarded to the participant whose overall body of work best represents the event across all three days.
- Relevance to the Sangeetam theme
- Storytelling across all three days
- Composition and technical quality
- Creativity and originality
- Emotional impact and consistency
9. Conduct & Discipline
- Participants must adhere to competition rules
- Any false claims or rule violations will result in disqualification
- Misconduct during the event may lead to the cancellation of entry
10. Results & Prizes
- Winners will be announced after screening and final evaluation
- Prizes will be announced separately on the third day night.
11. Disqualification
Participants may be disqualified for:
- Violating event rules
- Misbehavior or misconduct
- Submitting edited or manipulated images beyond the allowed limits
- Providing false information
12. Organizer Rights
- Organizers reserve the right to:
- Disqualify entries violating rules
- Modify rules or schedule if required
- Use submitted photographs for promotional purposes with due credit
- Participation implies acceptance of all rules
