1. Eligibility & Registration
- Eligibility: The competition is open to College / University students only.
- Participants must register before the 25th February, 2026.
- Registration fee: ₹200 per participant (non-refundable)
- Registration is confirmed only after successful payment
- A valid college / University ID will be required for verification
- In case of registrations exceeding the limit, participants will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis. (In such a case, fees will be refunded)
2. Language & Style
- Shayari/Poetry may be performed in Hindi, English, Urdu, or Hinglish
- Any poetic style is allowed (classical, modern, spoken word, ghazal, etc.)
- Mixing of languages is permitted
3. Performance Format
- Solo performance only
- Time limit: 2–3 minutes
- Exceeding the time limit will result in a point deduction.
- The performance order will be decided by the organizers and informed prior to the event scheduled.
4. Content Guidelines
- Poetry must be original and self-written
- Plagiarism or recitation of others’ work is strictly prohibited
- Content must not include:
- Hate speech
- Extreme obscenity
- Political or religious provocation
- Organizers reserve the right to stop a performance violating guidelines
5. Use of Props & Aids
- No background music or sound effects allowed
- Use of paper or a mobile phone is allowed, but you must carry the stage presence.
6. Judging Criteria (100points)
Participants will be judged on:
- Originality & creativity
- Language & expression
- Emotional impact
- Clarity & confidence
- Stage presentation
Judges’ decisions are final and binding
7. Conduct & Discipline
- Respect judges, organizers, and fellow participants
- No abusive language or gestures on stage
- No interruption during another participant’s performance
- Any misconduct may lead to disqualification without refund
8. Technical Rules
- A microphone will be provided
- No sound check beyond the given time
- No re-performance due to personal errors or memory lapses
9. Results & Prizes
- Results will be announced after the judge’s evaluation
- Score sheets will not be disclosed
- Awards

- Runner-up: Gift hamper and Certificate
- Participation Certificate to all participants.
10. Organizer Rights
- Organizers reserve the right to:
- Modify rules if necessary
- Change performance order
- Disqualify participants for rule violations
- Use performance recordings/photos for promotional purposes
- Participation implies full acceptance of all rule
